Can you row 600 miles – on your rowing machine, out on the water, or a mix of both – to complete our River Nile Virtual Challenge?

Your journey begins just north of Cairo and flows south along the Nile all the way to the Aswan Dam. The route is brought to life on our interactive map, and your progress will be engraved forever on the back of our biggest and most beautiful medal to date.

How It Works

Submitting & Claiming Your Medal

• When you sign up, you’ll receive your personal tracking link.

• Upload your distances as often as you like – daily, weekly, or in bulk.

• Once you’ve completed the full 600 miles on the virtual map, your medal will be sent automatically.

• Didn’t get your link? Email us at info@racethedistance.com and we’ll help you out.

Checking Your Progress

• Track your rowing journey with our real-time results system, sortable by age, gender, and country.

• Watch your boat travel down the Nile on a fully interactive virtual map, passing through famous towns, ancient landmarks, and the timeless landscapes of Egypt.

• Compete with friends and see who makes it to Aswan first!

All the routes follow real life roads and trails, target the next town along on the map,  pass landmarks, cross countries, it's going to be fun!
