Atlantic Rowing Challenge

This is our biggest challenge of them all! Can you, either individually, or as part of a team*, complete the massive 4828km  (3000 miles) virtual map and earn your Atlantic Row medal?

Row, on a machine, or the water, 3000 miles, moving along our Virtual tracking map, Complete this challenge at a time and place that suits your schedule  to receive your exclusive medal. There is no time limit on this challenge, it can be done in one go, or multiple activities. 

Submitting and Claiming your Medal

You will be emailed a separate link / web page when you sign up, to upload your progress as and when you want to.  Your medal will be sent as soon as you 'complete the map' *please email us at info@racethedistance.com if your link doesn't arrive.

Checking Your Progress

We have a real-time results system with instant tables, sort-able by age, gender and Country.   We also have live tracking 'journeys' with fully interactive maps for our annual and seasonal longer challenges!

*If rowing in a team, please email us over a team name for tracking link after purchase, you can have unlimited number of rowers per team,  all adding their personal rows to the same total manually. We. For example a team of 5 all wanting to receive a medal at the end will need to purchase 5 places, but a gym with 30 members can buy one entry and will be sent one medal. will send out the number of medals that corresponds to the number of places you purchase. Please drop us an email with your requirements and we will get this set up for you.

All the routes follow real life roads and trails, target the next town along on the map,  pass landmarks, cross countries, it's going to be fun!

Uploading your progress could not be easier with our challenges allowing you to upload activities direct from Strava.  Do not worry if you do not have Strava, as you can also add activities manually.
