Celebrate the Year of the Snake with a challenge like no other!
Take on a 25km virtual route over the infamous Snake Pass, nestled between Sheffield and Manchester, UK. Complete the distance in one go or spread it out over as many sessions as you like – whether on a rowing machine, on the water, or a mix of both.

This challenge is strictly limited to just 200 places across RowTheDistance.com and our sister site RaceTheDistance.com. Each entry comes with a stunning medal plus a numbered completion card, featuring your unique issue number. Numbers are allocated in purchase order, making your medal a true collector’s piece.

What is a Virtual Challenge?

A virtual challenge can be done anywhere, anytime. Simply row on a machine, on the water, or both – you choose how to complete your distance.

Submitting & Claiming Your Medal

• When you sign up, you’ll receive your personalised tracking link.

• Upload your distances as you go, whether little and often or all in one push.

• Once you’ve completed the full 25km on the virtual Snake Pass map, your medal and numbered completion card will be sent automatically.
